Morocco Intermezzo (1981)
Herman and Vera – his life and creative partner and collaborator on many of his projects – spent a year in Tiznit, Morocco, a desert town on the Atlantic coast. The light, colors, nature, and visual world he encountered there clearly influenced the series of paintings he created during this time.
