Vor einigen Monaten haben wir ein Dossier über Hermans Arbeit zusammengestellt, mit einer Auswahl an Landschaftskunstprojekten und Malerei. Wir brauchten ein neue Präsentation seiner Arbeit, die wir Kontakten in der Kunstwelt zeigen können. Nachdem es fertig war, dachten wir es wäre auch schön eine PDF-Version als Download ins Netz zu stellen damit alle die sich für seine Arbeit interessieren auch daran Freude haben können. Wir bedanken uns sehr bei Andrés Bartos, der uns beim Layout und der Fotobearbeitung sehr geholfen hat!
Wir freuen uns auch sehr, dass wir mit einem Archiv in Deutschland im Gespräch sind, das eventuell Interesse hätte Hermans Archiv zu übernehmen. Wir suchen schon seit Jahren nach einem guten Platz für das Archivmaterial und hoffen, dass es diesmal klappt. Momentan sitz es in einem Lagerraum auf Mallorca und wir wollen unbedingt, dass es an einen Ort gelangt wo es der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist. Das war Herman sehr wichtig und eines seiner großen Wünsche. Auch hier ist ein großes Dankeschön fällig, diesmal an Prof. Dr. Dieter Ronte.
Eine weitere Neuigkeit ist die Facebook-Seite, die wir für Hermans Arbeit eingerichtet haben. Wir waren uns eine zeitlang nicht ganz sicher, ob wir eine Facebook-Präsenz für seine Arbeit überhaupt wollten, aber nach längerer Überlegung entschieden wir, dass es doch sinnvoll ist. Wir hoffen nicht nur Neuigkeiten über Hermans Arbeit und unsere Blog-Artikel auf der Facebook-Seite mit euch zu teilen sondern auch weitere, interessante Information zum Thema Landschaftskunst, Art in Nature, Kunst und Ökologie.
Wir hoffen das Dossier macht euch Spaß und dass ihr uns hin und wieder auf Facebook besucht.

A few months ago, we put together a dossier about Herman’s work featuring some of his most important landscape art projects as well as a selection of paintings. We needed a new, professional presentation of his work to show to contacts in the art world. However, once we got done with it, we thought it would be great to make it available as a PDF download on the blog so that anyone interested in his work could also enjoy it. A big thank you to Andrés Bartos for helping us edit the photos and put together the layout.
The dossier is only available in German right now, but we hope to translate it soon. It has a lot of photos though so hopefully you’ll enjoy it even if you don’t understand German.
Recently, we also got in touch with an archive in Germany, which might be interested in taking in Herman’s archive. This is something that was very important to Herman, and we’ve spent years looking for a suitable place. At the moment, his archive is sitting in a storage room on Mallorca, but we want to find a place that will make the archival material accessible to the public, as was his wish. Hopefully it will work out this time! We want to thank Dr. Dieter Ronte for all his great advice and help.
Finally, we’ve also created a Facebook page for Herman’s work. We had our doubts about whether to do this or not – we weren’t entirely sure Facebook was the right place – but in the end we decided it made sense. In addition to posting news about Herman’s work and our blog articles, we want to use the page to share interesting information about environmental and landscape art in general.

Hace unos meses, juntamos un dossier sobre el trabajo de Herman en el que aparecen algunas de sus obras paisajísticas más importantes y una selección de cuadros. Necesitábamos una nueva presentación profesional de su trabajo para mostrar a contactos en el mundo del arte. Sin embargo, una vez hecho, pensamos que sería bueno que estuviera disponible como PDF descargable en el blog para que cualquiera interesado en su trabajo pudiera disfrutarlo también. Gran agradecimiento a Andrés Bartos por ayudarnos a editar las fotos y juntar todo el material.
El dossier solamente está disponible en Alemán en estos momentos, pero esperamos traducirlo pronto. Incluye muchas fotos por lo que esperamos que lo disfruten aunque no entiendan Alemán.
Hace poco, entramos en contacto con un archivo en Alemania, que puede que esté interesado en adquirir el archivo de Herman. Esto es algo que fue de gran importancia para Herman, y hemos pasado años buscando el lugar apropiado. En estos momentos, su archivo se encuentra en un trastero en Mallorca, pero queremos encontrar un lugar que posibilite que el material de archivo llegue al público, como fue su deseo. Ojalá esta vez salga adelante! Queremos dar las gracias al Dr. Dieter Ronte por toda su gran ayuda y sus consejos.
Finalmente, hemos creado también una página en Facebook sobre el trabajo de Herman. Tuvimos nuestras dudas sobre si hacer esto o no – no estábamos seguras si Facebook era el lugar adecuado – pero al final decidimos que tenía sentido. Queremos usar esta página para compartir noticias sobre el trabajo de Herman y nuestros artículos en el blog, pero también para compartir información interesante sobre el arte medio ambiental y paisajístico en general.
